You should also consider closing off your evaporative cooler vents to reduce any risk of losing heat through your ductwork. If you have Evaporative Cooling Vent Covers, it’s a good idea to install these at the same time, and ensure you switch off the cooler at the controller.

Do NOT turn on your cooler at any time, while the vents are closed or while vent covers are installed.
